Custom 11 Vintage Kenner Star Wars BLACK IMPERIAL BLASTER Prop Replica Cosplay

  

You may be thinking this oversized toy blaster looks kinda familiar? That's most likely do to becoming world famous in the late 70's & 80's after several years accompanying some of Kenner's most popular Star Wars 3.75 action figures such as BOBA FETT, HAMMERHEAD and of course LUKE IN STORMTROOPER DISGUISE to name a few! I really hate to let this unusual looking blaster get away but desperately in need of funds for a must have item so have sadly but certainly decided to pass on this supersized Kenner replica to a lucky new owner. Not exactly sure what all went into the production of this prop blaster or how many more, if any, were ever made.

My best guess is it was created using a mold vs 3D printed with some type of heavy solid resin material. Measuring approximately 14 3/4 long x 5 1/4 at widest point and weighing a hair over 2lbs painted flat black. With limited wear consisting only of small dings or dents plus minor paint flaws here and there but hardly noticeable. If you look closely along the bottom right side of barrel you can see where some type of identification marks/numbers and was covered up using a very poor patch job too (see pics).

As far as how many or if more were even made? Only slightly adding fuel to blaster's rarity. That said I'm certainly not wanting to mislead anyone by overstating blaster's rarity so I'd like to just add that after a couple decades collecting exclusively Star Wars items plus attending every second of 4 Celebrations and have yet to see another or anything even close. Totally uber cool prop no matter if just for display or possibly become the ultimate addition to your cosplay!
