In the shadow wars of the Outer Rim the Empire favour fast machines that can skim a canyon at treetop height. OBSIDIAN WRAITH-09 started life as a field-modified snowspeeder; somewhere along the way, the armourers stripped out everything that wasn't a gun and bolted a twin dorsal laser on the roof. Now it slams along the deck like a flying gun carriage, pilot half-exposed, cannons chewing through anything in its path. Custom OBSIDIAN WRAITH-09 trench speeder in a grim Star Wars snowspeeder style. Built for 3.75" / 1:18 scale figures - deep open cockpit with armoured pilot seat. Dominant twin dorsal laser cannon on a raised mount, giving a clear arc over the nose.

Brutal forward weapons stack: heavy central cannon plus twin light barrels and sensor / control block. Compact repulsor pods at the rear, echoing classic snowspeeder thrusters in a heavier, black-ops form. Hull covered in layered armour plates, conduit lines and greeblies to sell the "field-rebuilt from scrap" story Painting & weathering (colour focus).

Finished in deep obsidian black, built from dark metallics so it looks like starship armour, not bare plastic. Hard silver chipping and edge wear on nose panels, gun housings and step plates to show years of low-level runs. Cannon barrels and the twin top laser tips feature blue/purple heat staining, like they've been over-charged on repeated strafing runs.

Subtle graphite and oily grey modulation across flat panels to break up the black and add depth. Tiny red and off-white indicators picked out on the weapon block and controls to pop against the dark hull. Focused edge highlights along key lines so the silhouette reads clearly even under moody shelf lighting Display & use. One-of-a-kind custom - this exact black trench-speeder loadout and paint job won't be repeated. Perfect as a rebel cut-down attack speeder, Imperial black-ops gunboat or underworld enforcer craft in Star Wars dioramas.

Looks great racing alongside classic snowspeeders, escorting transports or parked on a shady landing pad with troopers around it. Figures shown in the photos are for scale and atmosphere only - not included in the sale "Field log, Outpost K-7: WRAITH-09 came in low, twin roof lasers blazing. When the smoke cleared, there were no tracks left-only glassed sand.
