Master Replicas Star Wars. 45 scale Jango Fett Helmet /w Stand Custom + Plaque

  

This is a customised Boba Fett Helmet from Master Replicas, Since Boba's Helmet was actually Jango's originally, before it was repainted and dented whilst in the hands of Boba. I bought this many years ago and have only just got round to finishing it.

I decided to give it a dirtier, more weathered paint job than Jango's original. It always bugged me that Jango's was too clean, like he'd never seen any action. Master Replicas never made a Jango version, as the contract was later taken by Gentle Giant. It was nice, but the stand didn't match the MR versions, so it looked strange in collections. I had the plaque custom made, and they did a good job of matching the style to the others, even including the Master Replicas Logo. So it matches the original stands more closely.

It's stuck on over Boba's original plaque. This took a lot of time and patience to get the finish right. In certain angles you can see a slight uneven surface where the original dent was filled. The silver was multi layered and stippled to give a metallic worn look. Please inspect the photos thoroughly and feel free to ask any questions.
